U.S. Integrated Healthcare Seminar

U.S. Integrated Healthcare Seminar

The economic pressures of ever-increasing healthcare costs coupled with a focus on quality health outcomes are driving the search for new approaches to healthcare management. Now government legislation in the United States is providing a strong impetus for change.

The Affordable Care Act and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA, “the Stimulus Bill”) created the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), which sets aside $27 billion to foster increased use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) by physicians and hospitals, through the use of incentives for healthcare providers that set up and demonstrate “meaningful use” of such medical record systems.

These Acts and policies are striving to shape what is known as ‘Integrated Healthcare’. A form of healthcare delivery that links multiple levels of care management, coordinates services and encourages professional collaboration across a range of care deliver mediums.

With a focus on the intersection of technology and health care, this symposium convenes thought leaders in an effort to inform the Irish healthcare industry on the rapidly-expanding integrated healthcare marketplace.

Intended to stimulate and generate meaningful business opportunities, this seminar will offer engaging and informative inputs from international leaders in healthcare. With a diverse agenda, a combination of keynotes and panel discussions, this event promises to provide attendees with a thought-provoking and highly engaging day.

There may also be an opportunity for Enterprise Ireland clients to have one-to-one meetings and this will be at the discretion of our speakers.
