Taoglas has announced the first LTE and WiMax antennas for telematics, mobile, telemedical and security markets.  The antennas will benefit M2M manufacturers developing LTE and WiMax prototypes for new fourth generation networks.  These devices promise to deliver super-fast down and upload speeds on multiple applications in location-based services, M2M and various mobile applications.  There are two antenna solutions in this range: embedded and external.   The embedded, FXP ultra wideband antennas the FXP100 and FXP400 are the result of a partnership with Dublin Institute of Technology’s (DIT) Antenna & High Frequency Research Group (www.ahfr.dit.ie/).

Taoglas has also launched  launched the SGP series, the first surface mount (SMT) GPS antenna products guaranteed to pass final device product certification for reflow solder profile tests, device environmental tests (temperature, humidity etc) and mechanical testing (shock, vibration etc.) for machine-to-machine (M2M) telematics devices.
