Call for Participation Now Open Web 2.0 Expo

Submission Deadline September 20, 1010
Be a speaker at the fifth annual Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco next spring by submitting your proposal today. We’re looking for thought-provoking, eye-opening sessions that will help define the next stage of the Web. If you’ve got an illuminating story, practical tips, useful lessons learned, or unusual insights, we want to hear from you.
Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco will take place March 28–31, 2011, at Moscone West.
How to Create a Compelling Proposal
Last year, we had less than one space available for every ten proposals we received. How do you make your submission stand out amongst the many we get? Web 2.0 Expo co-chairs Sarah Milstein and Brady Forrest tell you what catches their eye in the webcast Insider Tips for Submitting a Winning Proposal to Web 2.0 Expo. In a nutshell:
- Tell a unique story.
- Focus on a specific segment of the audience.
- Provide a clear description of what attendees will learn.
- Focus on lessons learned and NOT the benefits of your product or service
- Skip the jargon.
- Include presenters we don’t see often enough at tech conferences.
