About the 2010 Trade and Investment Mission

On Monday, March 15th, Ireland’s Prime Minister (An Taoiseach), Brian Cowen, will address Silicon Valley business leaders and venture capitalists at a lunch hosted by Enterprise Ireland.

Today, as Irish companies extend their market presence into Silicon Valley, the technology synergies between the region and Ireland are becoming more dynamic. Programs and strategic partnerships are emerging with Silicon Valley corporations and venture capital firms—partnerships that are inspiring market growth in the U.S. for Ireland’s innovators.

Join us at this event to hear more about the innovation synergies that define the Ireland/Silicon Valley partnership. Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your company to customers, strategic partners and VCs in networking sessions before and after the lunch.

On Tuesday, March 16th, An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen will participate in the Forum on Partnering for Strategic Growth in the US Government Sector in Washington D.C.

A forum is for clients doing business in US Federal, State and Local Government and for those exploring partnerships to access these markets.

The Forum will be introduced by Brian Cowen, An Taoiseach. It will feature case studies from Irish companies who have successfully partnered to achieve sales in the US public sector.

A panel of speakers will address the themes of using partnership to accelerate growth and achieve scale.

Time: 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Location: St. Regis

After the panel session there will be a business reception from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
